  • Mood: Dominance
  • Listening to: Lucifuge
  • Reading: Despite the System
  • Watching: The Seventh Seal
  • Eating: a pear
CONTEST CLOSED

So, yesterday was the deadline, and no one entered. It's cool, though. Feel free to draw one of these three characters, anyway.

The Challenge
Draw one of my original characters. Here are some descriptions:

Daggard
Hair: dark brown, curly
Eyes: very dark, nearly black
Complexion: tan, with a scar on his left cheek
Clothes: he wears a tattered maroon overcoat and brown or forest green trousers, and boots
Bio: Daggard is a travelling musician who used to work for the Nobility. He escaped execution and now travels Medieval Europe warning the people about how dangerous government is. He is very sarcastic, and at times unkind.

Joshua Hallowell
Hair: blonde
Eyes: green
Complexion: palish
Clothes: he usually wears jeans with a hap-hazardly buttoned white dress shirt. When he goes out, he wears a light brown trench coat and a fadora
Bio: Raised by a wealthy family in a utopian society, Joshua led a care-free childhood. He is calloused by his sister's suicide. He devotes himself to studying and reading, and he is an apt equestrien. He is very serious, and very introverted, but also very shy and sweet at times.

Gazriel
Hair: dark blonde
Eyes: reddish brown
Complexion: between pale and tan
Clothes: leather pants, purple tank top (but if someone drew him nude, I'd squee aloud)
Bio: He is my fan character for Tom Snigoski's "The Fallen". He is a fallen angel, so keep that in mind if you draw him. He was lovers with Samchia before the war in Heaven, and they joined Lucifer's army because God did not approve of their affair. Now Samchia is dead, and Gazriel is still stuck on Earth. He waits tables in a bar in Germany.

The Rules
If you want to enter the contest, either comment on this journal or send me a note. When your entry is finished, post it in your gallery and send me a link. MAKE SURE you credit me for inventing the characters, and if you draw Gazriel, don't forget to give credit to Tom Snigoski. The deadline is February 28, 2009. There are no rules or restrictions on how or what you draw, as long as one of those three characters is in the picture. I will decide and post the winners on March 1, 2009.

The Prizes
First Place: Three month subscription, and I'll feature any 10 devations of your choice in my journal
Second Place: Three month subscription, and I'll feature any 5 deviations of your choice in my journal
Third Place: One month subscription, and I'll feature any 3 deviations of your choice in my journal

Me wants to enter too... It just really depends on if I can get some free time until the deadline, 'cause I am barely alive with all the schoolwork. And I have some really serious health problems, which, as it seems, can't be fully healed anyway... :(

But I really want to enter! :excited:

Spread your wings and fly away! :floating:
 It's okay, honey. I would love it if you do enter, but I will totally understand if you don't make the deadline. You have a lot going on right now.
